These past few days, I've been debating whether to go with the mainnet or Layer 2, essentially a clash between gas fees and user experience: the mainnet is expensive but more reliable, while Layer 2 is cheaper and smoother, but switching back and forth feels like moving house, and I end up needing a few extra steps just to transfer funds. My compromise is to keep large, infrequent transactions on the mainnet, and small, regular ones on Layer 2, like making a "backup" for myself—so at least there's a way to revert if something goes wrong on one side.
Seeing the collapse of blockchain games with inflation, studio manipulation, and a spiral in coin prices actually reminds me not to put all my liquidity and emotions into one pool... Anyway, it's okay to take it slow; being able to use, withdraw, and sleep well is more important. That's how I'll proceed for now.
