Recently, I’ve been “working” during the airdrop season again, and the task platform is still anti-witchcraft. Once the points system came out, things got even more competitive… The first thing that blocked me wasn’t the interaction steps, but mempool congestion. When you click confirm, the transaction actually first goes to the “waiting lounge” to queue: miners/validators see who offers higher tips and who’s easier to fit into a block, just like hailing a cab during rush hour—you don’t add extra money, and it just keeps showing “matching you.” While waiting in line, you might encounter two awkward situations: one is price fluctuations or status changes causing immediate failure, wasting gas; the other is sending another transaction with the same nonce after yours, pushing the previous one out (equivalent to drawing a new queue number). My current approach is pretty crude: when congested, don’t force it; calculate whether this interaction is worth that bit of gas, and if you really want to do it, just pay enough in one go. Otherwise, changing prices back and forth is more like reversing at a toll booth… Anyway, don’t let your emotions get the better of you while farming.
