You guys say, is this "queue jumping" on the chain really considered cheating… I looked into a few swap paths again yesterday, and clearly at the moment I confirmed, the price was fine, but by the time it executed, it slipped a bit more. Basically, someone is just faster and better at queuing.

But I don't want to pretend to be pure either: sorting is basically a juicy piece of meat, whoever is closer to the pack, who has more complete information, can get the advantage. The biggest impact isn't really "professional players fighting each other," but the tolerance for ordinary people: slippage, fees, or even a failed transaction can be quite damaging.

Recently, I've seen L2s arguing over TPS, fees, and subsidies, getting noisy about it, but how to do sorting, who can jump the queue, whether rules are transparent or not, no one is seriously discussing. Anyway, my current habit is: try small amounts more often, don't set too aggressive slippage, treat abnormal transactions as tuition fees… I don't expect absolute fairness on the chain, just hope people aren't treated like cash cows.
