On May 1, according to a survey by the Federal Reserve, 66.3% of U.S. employees with an annual income exceeding $200,000 have used AI tools at work in the past 12 months. This is followed by employees earning between $100,000 and $200,000 and those earning between $50,000 and $100,000, at 51.6% and 40.2%, respectively. In contrast, only 15.9% of Americans earning less than $50,000 used AI tools during the same period. Additionally, college graduates are more than twice as likely to use AI tools at work compared to those without a college education, with rates of 58.7% and 22.9%, respectively. Full-time employees are nearly twice as likely to use AI as part-time employees, at 42.7% and 24.7%. Among those who use AI, 68.0% of respondents reported that it makes their work easier, and 56.7% believe it enhances their productivity.
