CryptoWorld News reports that Wu said that the DeFi protocol Carrot, based on the Solana blockchain, announced that the Drift vulnerability incident has severely impacted its continued operations, and Carrot will be shut down. Carrot has set May 14 as the deadline for withdrawing the remaining funds from Boost, Turbo, and CRT. After that, the system will begin deleveraging, and all leverage will be reduced to zero to release all liquidity for CRT redemption. Carrot stated that user deposits still belong to the users, and any recovery work for Drift will be allocated as previously described, though the specific timetable has not been clarified.
