Trump: Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is "incredible," and the U.S. has significantly weakened Iran's military capabilities

BlockBeats News, May 1st, U.S. President Trump commented on the negotiations with Iran, stating that the U.S. has significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities. He claimed that about 82% of Iran’s drone factories have ceased production, nearly 90% of missile factories have also shut down, and reiterated that the U.S. has “destroyed” Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

He also criticized Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as “incredible,” leading Iran to “gain no revenue from oil.” Nevertheless, Trump expressed hope to reach an agreement with Iran as soon as possible and hinted that “only he and a few others know the true state of the Iran negotiations.” U.S. Secretary of State Blinken is actively involved in the related negotiations.

Once the Iran crisis is resolved, Trump expects gasoline prices to fall. This contradicts California Governor Newsom’s view—Newsom pointed out that after 61 days of conflict, U.S. gasoline prices have risen nearly 30%, reaching $4.30 per gallon, with food, transportation, and flight prices also increasing, but the federal government remains “silent.”
