Recently, I’ve seen everyone fixate on the “unlock” calendar and feel anxious about the pressure and dumping that comes with it—me, I’m actually more scared of getting “unlocked” first…

Don’t screenshot your mnemonic phrases, and don’t put them in a cloud or on a web drive. If you really need to back them up, write two offline copies and store them in different places.

And when you’re prompted to authorize a signature, don’t click on “free airdrops.” Many phishing sites depend on that one click from you to agree—turning your wallet into a self-serve buffet.

Also, those pages that tell you to “reconnect/upgrade verification” are basically just there to harvest you.

( I’d rather miss out on a hundred airdrops than end up needing to “replace” my wallet screenshot memorial. )

Anyway, these days whenever I open a new link, I test it with a secondary account first—if I can reduce the authorizations I grant, I do. I also regularly revoke old permissions, so I can sleep more soundly.
