May Day is coming, and many people are starting to plan trips, dinners, and take a few days to relax. People can rest, but the funds in their accounts actually don’t need to keep “lying flat.”

I’ve always felt that holidays are actually the best time to do asset allocation. Since the market pace slows down, you also have time to review and reorganize your money and plans. Instead of letting idle assets sit in your account without moving, it’s better to use this window to place them somewhere that can generate stable returns.
