Recently, I realized that the point I am most easily exploited is not due to a lack of technical understanding, but because my attention is being pulled away. Today, the L2 hype battle is about TPS, fees, and subsidies; tomorrow, it’s a different narrative. As the timeline refreshes, I get itchy to jump in and “ride the trend.” Honestly, the faster things rotate, the more I should slow down: right now, when I see the excitement, I first ask myself—which chain do I need to move my assets from and to? Who owns the bridge, has it had any accidents, and who takes the fall if something goes wrong? If I can’t answer, don’t rush in; that small amount of subsidy isn’t enough to compensate for losing a bridge. Anyway, I’d rather miss out than come back and replay the scene to scold myself. Be cautious; it can really save money.
