Just saw Hyundai's February numbers and the EV/hybrid surge is pretty striking. Their total sales hit an all-time February record at 65,677 units, up 6 percent year-over-year, but what really caught my attention is the electric and hybrid lineup jumping 56 percent combined to over 22,000 units. That's a massive swing.

The IONIQ 5 is clearly doing heavy lifting here, along with their hybrid variants like the Sonata HEV and Santa Fe HEV. Traditional SUVs like Tucson and Palisade are still moving volume, but you can see where the momentum is shifting. They've now hit record total sales for three straight months, which suggests consistent demand rather than a one-off spike.

Year-to-date total sales are up 4 percent overall at 121,301 units. Hyundai's betting big on this EV/hybrid strategy and the numbers show customers are actually responding to it. Interesting to watch how this plays out as more players push into that segment.
