Just saw AT&T dropped a new free phone for kids called the amiGO Jr. Phone. Honestly seems pretty solid if you're trying to give your kid a smartphone without losing your mind over screen time. They partnered with Samsung on it and built this whole free app for parents to basically control everything - where they are, what apps they can use, when they can use it. Even has this thing called Safe Zones so you can set up areas where they're allowed to go. Pretty handy if you ask me. Oh and they're also launching a watch that works with it, so your free phone for kids setup can expand if needed. Both the phone and watch are $2.99 a month, no trade-in required, which is wild. You can grab them through their website or app or just walk into an AT&T store. Honestly this free phone for kids model might actually change how parents approach giving devices to younger kids. The whole screentime management thing is becoming such a big deal. Curious if other carriers are gonna follow suit with their own free phone for kids options.
