Just did some quick math on something that blew my mind. So Elon Musk's net worth is sitting around 410 billion, right? And I started wondering what that would actually mean if you just split it evenly across every American. Turns out each person would only get like 1,200 bucks. A family of four? Maybe 4,800 total. Wild how that puts it into perspective.

Like yeah, that's money most people wouldn't say no to, but it's not exactly life-changing. For the ultra-wealthy it wouldn't even register. Then I got curious and looked at what happens if you throw in the other mega-billionaires too. Top 10 richest Americans combined? Around 1.91 trillion. That bumps it up to about 5,600 per person. Still not retirement money, but definitely more substantial.

The real kicker though is when you flip it around. Average American net worth is like 1 million, but half the country is sitting on less than 24k. If everyone gave up what they have, it literally wouldn't even add a penny to anyone else's pocket. Makes you realize Elon Musk's wealth, as massive as it seems, is actually just a drop in the bucket when you're talking about a country of 340+ million people. Anyway just a random thought I had scrolling through some finance stuff.
