Just realized how bad my credit card debt situation was getting, so I started looking for the best debt payoff app to help me tackle it. Apparently credit card debt in the US hit like 841 billion in 2022 and people are carrying around 6,500 on average per household. Pretty wild. Found three apps that seem legit for this kind of thing.

Tally's probably the most aggressive option - it consolidates your cards into one payment and they claim you can get out of debt 2x faster. The APR ranges from like 7.90% to 29.99% depending on your credit score. They say 50% of their premium members are debt-free within 3 years. Pretty solid if your current card rates are higher.

Then there's Truebill, which does something different. It helps you find and cancel subscriptions you forgot about (apparently they've canceled over a million), and they'll negotiate your bills for you. Honestly the subscription thing alone could free up a decent amount of cash each month to throw at debt.

Mint is probably the best debt payoff app if you want something simpler - tracks everything, monitors your credit score, and gives you personalized spending insights. You can set budget alerts and see your net worth in real time. No fancy consolidation, just straight-up visibility into where your money's going.

I'm leaning toward trying one of these since interest rates keep climbing anyway. Anyone else using any of these?
