China and the United States have advanced greatly in technology, and Russia is also keeping up. Continental Europe and we have been very sluggish. In terms of factories and manufacturing, they’ve already surpassed us by 50 years, and now they’ll usher in an era with artificial intelligence and bring it to its next chapter. In Turkey, there are still so-called academic people—“bilim31'ci”—who say we should open factories and produce robots; first, we need to get rid of those people. The average gap has opened up a lot. I don’t know what we need to do, but I’m sure we shouldn’t follow the crowd I mentioned.
