Just found out cucumbers are actually amazing for dogs and I've been sleeping on this. Like, they're basically water and almost zero calories, so perfect if your pup is trying to lose weight or just needs a refreshing snack in summer.

Apparently cucumber for dogs is legit safe according to vets, but you gotta be smart about it. Cut them into bite-sized pieces, wash them first, and some people say remove the seeds just in case. The rule is treats should only be like 10% of their daily calories, so don't overdo it. My vet said smaller dogs get a couple slices a few times a week, bigger dogs can have more but still keep it chill.

The hydration thing is clutch too, especially on hot days. Plus they've got potassium and antioxidants which is nice. I'm gonna start giving my dog cucumber for dogs snacks instead of those high-calorie treats. Anyone else do this or am I late to the game?
