Pakistan expects Iran to submit a revised peace proposal as early as today or by Friday after Donald Trump rejected an earlier version. Sources familiar with the matter said the delay may reflect difficulty reaching Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Iran’s foreign minister assured him that an answer would come.
