Just saw that Lam Research tapped Sesha Varadarajan as their new COO starting March. Guy was running their global product group before, so makes sense they'd promote from within. Pat Lord's stepping down after 20+ years though, which is a pretty big change for the company. They're also bringing Anirudh Devgan from Cadence onto the board, so looks like they're reshuffling the leadership pretty heavily. Stock was up slightly on the news when I checked, trading around $230.77. Interesting move for a semiconductor equipment maker—wonder if Varadarajan brings any new direction to operations. These leadership changes always make you think about where a company's headed next.
