Been hunting for a solid car that won't destroy my wallet and honestly found some gems worth looking at. So if you're trying to find the lowest price new car options, there are actually some decent choices that won't cost you an arm and a leg.
The Mitsubishi Mirage was going for around $18k which is pretty wild for a new vehicle. Yeah it's not the fastest thing on the road but for city driving it's compact and efficient. Then you've got the Kia Forte starting around $21k - not flashy but the interior is surprisingly nice for the price. Nissan Sentra was another solid option hovering near $22k with good space and comfort.
If you're looking at slightly higher budget, the Hyundai Elantra came in around $23k and honestly it's a great first car. Toyota Corolla also in that range and you know Toyota's reliability is legit. Even the Volkswagen Jetta was pushing just under $25k with decent features.
The whole point is you don't need to spend crazy money to get something reliable. All these lowest price new car options were under $25k which is pretty reasonable if you're trying to keep car payments manageable. Main thing is these are practical daily drivers, not status symbols. Curious if anyone actually went with any of these or if you found something better in that price range?
