Recently looked at a few DAO proposals, on the surface talking about "optimizing governance," but flipping through the incentive clauses feels a bit like tasting a sweet aftertaste: who can get subsidies, who has voting power bonuses, who can get on the delegation list... The power structure is basically written in the detailed rules, just packaged more gently. Airdrop season + point system makes everyone compete like at work, task platforms even oppose witches, and as a result, voting becomes just "a part of completing tasks." Honestly, many people aren't expressing opinions; they're just protecting their eligibility. Anyway, now when I see the words "alignment of incentives," I pause for two seconds, first see where the money flows, who can change the rules, then click confirm.
