Paper losses really are more annoying than paper gains that keep you awake at night. When I make a profit, I think, "Hmm, not bad," but when I lose, my mind automatically starts writing a little essay: should I cut, did I see it wrong, will I lose even more... Clearly, these are just numbers on the screen, but my heartbeat feels like it's being pulled along by them. Honestly, it's loss aversion—losing 1 dollar feels worse than the thrill of earning 1 dollar.

Recently, that mainstream public chain is upgrading/maintaining, and in the group, people are guessing whether ecosystem projects will migrate. I also got a bit anxious, not because I fear it will be slow, but because I worry about a sudden "chaos." My biggest fear isn't slowness; it's chaos—slowness can be waited out, but chaos can easily break the rhythm and rules altogether.

Anyway, my current approach is: don't watch the market for too long, and even if I lose, I first write my plan back on paper, so emotions don't hit the confirm button for me. That's how I'll do it for now.
