Just found this list of affordable vehicles under 25k and honestly some of these prices are wild. The Mitsubishi Mirage starting at like 18k? That's actually insane for a new car. People always sleep on these but they're solid if you're not trying to break the bank.
Kia Forte and Nissan Sentra are in the low 20s too, which is still pretty reasonable for something reliable. I get that they're not flashy but that's kind of the point - you're getting practical affordable vehicles without the premium price tag.
Toyota Corolla made the list obviously, starting around 23k. Can't really go wrong there if you want something that'll last forever. VW Jetta at 23k is interesting too, didn't expect that to be this affordable.
The thing is these prices were from 2024-2025 so they might be different now, but the point still stands - there's definitely options out there for affordable vehicles if you actually look. Way better than stretching yourself for something you can't afford. Anyone else been shopping lately? What are you finding?
