Recently, when writing scripts to capture event logs, I was again educated by the "On-Chain Truth"… You think what you see is real-time, but often it's just nodes/RPCs queuing, and indexers catching up. Especially with those free RPCs, occasional block drops or rollbacks can make it seem like your data is delayed by a few minutes, and your mindset can get thrown off.

So now I understand why tools for on-chain data and tagging systems are criticized for being "laggy" and "easily influenced," I can relate: tags are basically human/algorithm post-processing, and when dealing with bulk transfers or address splitting, it’s easy to be misled. Anyway, I myself will check multiple RPC sources, and for critical transactions, I’ll verify with an archive node (a node that can look up historical states)… It’s troublesome, but at least I won’t be led astray by a single "real-time chart."
