These days, I’ve seen new L1/L2 projects offering incentives to boost TVL again.

Old users in the group are rushing in while complaining, “Mining, selling…”
Honestly, this is just attention economy: you focus on the hype, and it focuses on your emotions and hands.
When hot topics change quickly, I set a simple rule for myself: if I don’t understand it, I won’t act first; don’t force understanding just to “avoid missing out.”

Once I followed a “new pool,” clicking around, with a bunch of buttons on the page, and the source of returns was unclear.
I felt uneasy inside but was afraid of missing out.
As a result, after less than two days, incentives dropped, liquidity dispersed, and the fees plus slippage made me question my life…
After that, I accepted it: returns I don’t understand are probably exchanged for volatility and exit rights.
It’s okay to take it slow; at least don’t keep fueling the hype repeatedly.
