Coordinate the advancement of commercial spaceflight standardization construction Commercial Spaceflight Standard System (Version 1.0) released

At the launch ceremony of the 11th “China Space Day” main event, the National Space Administration and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly released the “Commercial Space Standard System (Version 1.0)”, aiming to thoroughly implement national strategies, promote high-quality development of commercial space, and leverage the leading and foundational role of standardization in industry development, coordinating the advancement of commercial space standardization. According to reports, this system follows the ideas of “full chain, full domain, modularity, and reconfigurability,” focusing on the overall layout of “Arrow-Star-Field Governance,” innovation across the entire industry chain, transformation of development models, and the creation of a healthy ecosystem, constructing a standard system for commercial space. It is divided into six primary branches: industry governance, research and development manufacturing, launch and measurement-control, space application services, basic commonality, and facilities and equipment, including 32 secondary branches and 100 tertiary branches, with over a thousand standard projects planned. The system covers applicable standards at international, national, and various levels and categories. The release of this system will provide a solid foundation for China’s commercial space standardization efforts and support high-quality and safe development. Going forward, the National Space Administration will continue to optimize the top-level design of the commercial space standard system, accelerate the effective supply of commercial space standards, develop a commercial space standard service platform, and expedite the construction of a “one network” for commercial space standard services, helping to promote high-quality development of commercial space and the building of a space power.
