Chongqing: By 2030, the added value of above-scale industries in Chongqing will increase by about 6% annually.
The Chongqing Municipal People’s Government issued the “Action Plan for Chongqing to Promote the Enhancement of Development Capacity in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle (2026–2030).” It proposes accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the backbone and producer services as support, using the new “Industrial Brain + Future Factory” model to drive coordinated development across the “Four Sides” and promote the integration of the “Four Chains,” iterating the “33618” modern manufacturing cluster system. By 2030, Chongqing and the Chengdu-Chongqing region will form a regional industrial ecosystem characterized by high concentration, efficient division of labor, and high openness. By 2030, Chongqing’s industrial added value of above-scale industries is expected to grow at an annual average rate of about 6%, and the added value of producer services will account for about 60% of the added value of the services industry.
