The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress holds a constitutional oath-taking ceremony

The 30th morning of the 14th Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress held a constitutional oath-taking ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Vice Chairman Li Hongzhong of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress presided over the oath-taking and served as a witness. The recently concluded 22nd session of the 14th Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress decided to appoint Zhang Chengzhong as Minister of Emergency Management. In accordance with the Constitution and the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress on implementing the constitutional oath system, the constitutional oath was conducted in accordance with law. Relevant officials from the National People’s Congress offices and the Ministry of Emergency Management attended the oath-taking ceremony. (Xinhua)
