Golden Finance reports that on April 30th, U.S. President Trump tweeted on the social media platform that the United States is studying the possibility of reducing its military presence in Germany, and a related decision will be made soon. This is the second consecutive day that Trump has posted messages involving Germany on social media. The day before, he posted a message expressing dissatisfaction with German Chancellor Merkel’s remarks on Iran, stating “Merkel thinks it’s okay that Iran has nuclear weapons; he has no idea what he’s talking about,” and that Germany is now “performing so poorly both economically and in other aspects.” Merkel stated on the 27th that the U.S. launched military action against Iran without formulating any strategy, leading to a dilemma and being “humiliated” by Iran.
