I found that unrealized losses really affect sleep more than unrealized gains… When the account is a little green, I always want to check on-chain data, see if there are any anomalies in deposits and withdrawals on the bridge, but there’s nothing really new—basically, I’m just afraid of “getting worse.” Unrealized gains rarely excite me; at most, I think “well, it’s okay,” and then I start worrying about drawdowns and erase it.

Recently, there’s been talk about increasing taxes and tightening compliance in certain regions. I don’t have a strong stance either way, but my psychological expectation is changing: if deposits and withdrawals are just a shell, people are more likely to see unrealized losses as “inescapable” losses, and anxiety doubles directly.

My mom also asked me: “If you don’t sell, wouldn’t you avoid losses?” I could only reply half-heartedly: “Not losing on paper, but feeling anxious inside…” For now, I’ll try not to refresh recklessly tonight.
