Recently, I've seen a bunch of PFP/member card projects shouting "long-term brandism," and I actually feel quite conflicted. To be honest, PFPs first capture attention, but whether they can eventually become an "identity" depends on whether the community has ongoing activities to do and whether the rules are self-consistent; otherwise, it's just lively avatar swapping. Not to mention, many membership benefits are written beautifully, but flip the contract and it's all about upgrades and a bunch of permissions... I usually just silently mark a small yellow light, to avoid any issues on that side of the bridge someday, which could also trigger emotional outbursts.

Recently, some places have been changing tax and compliance policies, and everyone's expectations for deposits and withdrawals have become tighter, making attention spans even shorter: first thinking about "can I go, how to go," who has the patience to listen to your brand storytelling slowly. Anyway, I don't need to be understood; I only look at whether there's real liquidity on-chain, whether project teams are explaining risks in understandable language, if they can't do that, then forget it, just leave it at that.
