The Federal Reserve states that this policy voting result was 8 to 4.

Golden Finance reports that on April 30, the Federal Reserve said the results of this policy vote were 8 to 4: Milan cast a dissenting vote and called for a 25 basis point rate cut; Hamak, Kashkari, and Logan also voted against, opposing the inclusion of a dovish bias in the statement. This is the highest number of dissenting votes in Federal Reserve interest rate decisions and policy statements since October 1992.
