Today, checking on-chain data again "lagged," almost thought my internet was acting up... Later I realized it's probably not me, but that data pipeline struggling: many apps don't read directly from the chain, they first organize block events with an indexer, then feed them into a query layer like subgraph; if any link in the chain is slow, what you see is "balance/transaction record delayed by a few seconds." Plus, with RPC rate limiting, especially during peak times when many people are doing tasks or checking airdrops, nodes are basically just queuing or dropping requests, so the page feels like it stalls for half a second. Now the community is arguing whether the extreme funding rate is a reversal or if the bubble is still being squeezed; I’m just going to snapshot the data at a certain point in time and not focus on real-time updates to avoid stressing myself out... Will report back after I’ve learned from the pitfalls.
