I just clicked into the mainnet again to do some things, and when I saw that string of gas numbers, I immediately hesitated and closed it... To be honest, ordinary people really don't need to fight the mainnet every time, unless you're racing against time (like for minting/liquidation), otherwise I basically do this: for daily interactions, first use L2, saving the money as psychological comfort; if I really need to go back to the mainnet, I save up a batch to do it all at once, rather than burning gas one by one.

Don't overhype the experience either; sometimes the anxiety of bridging back and forth on L2, with transactions not arriving, is pretty annoying, so I start with small amounts to test it out, and if it works smoothly, then I increase the size. Recently, there have been a lot of people watching staking unlocks and token unlock calendars, shouting about selling pressure. Anyway, when the market gets tight, I don't want to spend more gas to "participate in the sentiment." The less I move, the better—just stay alive first.
