I tend to not hold spot positions, and I always want to "add some leverage to speed things up" with contracts, but the result is often: I sell off my spot as soon as it rises, get liquidated when contracts shake, and pixel cats shed fur on the spot... Basically, position management boils down to one simple rule: don't gamble with the money that will keep you awake at night.


Recently, the fee rates have been extreme, and the group is arguing whether to reverse or continue to pump the bubble. I, for one, see the crazy fee rates and get a bit cautious first, don’t fight the market with emotions.
If I could keep only one habit: think through the worst-case loss before placing an order, and if you can't accept it, don't place the trade.
