Lately, social mining/points have become popular again, with groups daily completing tasks, hanging out small windows watching badges, making it seem like missing a check-in means missing out on life... I used to be obsessed too, honestly it's just trading time for a sense of "identity." Later I realized the most expensive thing isn't gas, but attention. Being drained and thinking you're working hard.

When memes and celebrities shout, attention shifts quickly, and newcomers tend to chase after it, who catches the baton last, no one knows. I now mostly watch large on-chain whales as tides: come when they come, leave when they leave, no chasing explanations, accepting randomness. If I can grab it, I do; if I can't, forget it—just focus on living my life.
