I just really screwed up myself... The AI agent helped me swap tokens on the chain, and I accidentally copied the whitelist address one digit wrong. Luckily, I looked at the signature popup a second time in the last step and realized the target contract was incorrect, or I would have paid the tuition fee on the spot. To put it simply, no matter how smart the agent is, it’s just running the process for you; the key steps still require human oversight: whether the address/contract is recognized by you, whether the authorization is unlimited, whether the health of the collateral position has been casually altered, and whether cross-protocol jumps could transmit risks. Recently, modular and DeFi layer narrative developers are pretty excited, and it’s normal for users to be confused... The more components there are, the more points of failure. My obsessive-compulsive side now focuses on: minimizing permissions, revoking authorizations, setting threshold alerts. It’s better to be slow and cautious than to rely on the agent to shoulder tail risks.
