CryptoWorld news reports that White House officials said U.S. President Donald Trump met with executives from oil and natural gas companies on Tuesday local time. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Treasury Secretary Bessent, and Vice President Vance were also in attendance. The attendees discussed the steps President Trump has taken to ease the global oil market, as well as measures that could be taken, if necessary, to keep the current blockade in place for several months and minimize the impact on U.S. consumers. A Chevron spokesperson said the company’s CEO, Mike Wirth, attended the meeting to discuss how the U.S.-Israel war against Iran has affected the global oil market.
