Alright, X has decided to take phishing more seriously. Now, the first post about cryptocurrencies is automatically blocked until you verify your identity. It sounds reasonable — hackers take over accounts and immediately start posting scam links and fake giveaways. If the first crypto post is blocked, then compromised accounts become less useful for them. But here’s the question — will this create problems for regular users who want to share something about cryptocurrencies for the first time? They will have to go through verification. On one hand, protection is necessary; on the other hand, it’s annoying. How do you feel about this approach?
