Polymarket responds to data leak allegations: All data is publicly accessible, and this inherent transparency on the blockchain is not a security vulnerability

Golden Finance reports that on April 29th, Polymarket’s official statement clarified the public’s concerns about a data leak: the relevant data has never been leaked, and all data can be publicly accessed through their public endpoints and on-chain data, which is an inherent feature of on-chain data transparency rather than a security vulnerability. Any user can freely access the relevant data through their API without paying.
Earlier reports indicated that Polymarket was suspected of experiencing a data breach, with over 300k records and a vulnerability exploitation toolkit leaked.
