I'm not very good at explaining those technical details, but these past couple of days, being stuck in mempool queues has really messed with my mood, making my emotions fluctuate like a candlestick chart... You think clicking confirm is the end of it, but actually it just puts your transaction into the "waiting room." When there's a lot of people, everyone starts competing to pay a higher "toll."

If you don't add a tip, your transaction just stays there, sometimes getting pushed further back; if you do add one, you're afraid of impulsively overbidding, the more anxious you are, the more you lose. Honestly, it's like using emotions to pay for congestion.

What's even more annoying is that after waiting in line for a while, you start to doubt: is it the network being slow, or is this transaction just not worth doing in the first place? Especially recently, the group has been arguing about privacy coins, coin mixing, and compliance lines. Many people shout about freedom but are also afraid of being watched. I find that pretty divided.
Anyway, my current rule is still that phrase: don't add to your position if you're not aiming for a miracle, just wait if you can, and if you can't, then forget it.
