Lately I've been looking at cross-chain bridges again, and the more I look, the more I feel they’re like “putting money into a transfer box,” how the box is opened, who has the key, and who reports at the door all determine whether you can sleep well or not. Multi-signature sounds stable, but it really depends on whether the signers are independent and not easily compromised; oracles are even more mysterious—feeding the wrong data once is enough for you to drink a bitter cup. And that phrase “waiting for confirmation,” used to seem slow, now it’s actually seen as a protective barrier… I’d rather wait a few more minutes than gamble for a moment of smoothness just for convenience.

These days, everyone is talking about staking unlocks, unlock calendars, and the pressure to sell off, with anxiety flying everywhere. Honestly, in places like cross-chain bridges, once you add emotional impulsiveness to chase quick in-and-out moves, it’s even easier to fall into traps. I have a simple trick now: the fewer bridges the better, and if I really need to cross, I do it in batches and slowly—just like that for now.
