Coinone Sues South Korea's FIU to Stop Penalties Before April 29

Coinone sued South Korea’s Financial Intelligence Unit and sought a court stay before penalties tied to a 5.2 billion Korean won fine take effect on April 29. The sanctions would block new users from depositing and withdrawing crypto assets to and from external exchanges. The FIU previously ordered a three-month partial business suspension over violations of the Specific Financial Information Act.
