After I started recording my transaction history, the frantic feeling of "what was I even doing at that time" at the end of the year has significantly decreased... In the past, a bunch of on-chain transfers and cross-platform exchanges, when it came time to report, all relied on memory, which was basically self-deception. Now at least after each operation, I quickly jot down the key time, chain, and purpose, so I can reconcile later and feel more at ease. Recently, there are also a bunch of AI Agents/auto-trading claiming to handle "fully automated on-chain interactions" for you, which sounds great, but I'm more worried about permissions and signatures—don't end up saving on records only to have a few inexplicable transactions to explain later. Anyway, first keep your own accounts in check, argue less, and leave more evidence.
