I just closed the task platform page… staring at that pile of points and the “anti-sybil” prompts, I feel like I’m not really playing on-chain—I’m just clocking in to work. It’s a bit draining to get caught up in all the hype.

On the other hand, I’ve been looking into a few PFP + membership playstyles lately. Basically, there are two routes: one is treating your avatar like a ticket—really getting into the circle, doing things, and being able to earn some ongoing benefits together. The other is just short-lived attention: excitement for about two weeks, competing in the group chat to see who can shout the loudest, and then it all dissipates.

Branding is also pretty mysterious. On-chain, you can break down benefits into very fine details, but whether they actually recognize you still comes down to people and time.

Anyway, what I care about most now is whether it can make me willing to keep showing up long-term—not whether I’m going to temporarily change skins just for the airdrop season. That’s it for now.
