CryptoWorld News reports that the U.S. Central Command said that, as of April 28, 39 vessels have been ordered to reroute to ensure compliance with the U.S. blockade requirements for Iranian ports. U.S. military forces intercepted and inspected a commercial ship named “Blue Star 3” in the Arabian Sea, saying it was suspected of trying to head to Iran, in violation of the U.S. blockade measures for Iranian ports. After the inspection confirmed that the ship’s voyage did not include Iranian ports, it was subsequently cleared to proceed. The U.S. military said that it is continuing to carry out blockade operations in the Middle East to restrict related shipping activities.
