Just saw that Cisco was reportedly eyeing Astrix Security for acquisition back in 2025 - deal was supposed to be around $250-350M range. Pretty interesting given how serious they're getting about AI security. Astrix being an Israeli startup working on AI agent security, and Cisco pairing it with their Galileo Technologies move on the same year. Feels like the whole industry is waking up to the fact that AI security is becoming critical infrastructure. Makes sense though - as more enterprises deploy AI agents, you need someone watching the security side. Wonder if deals like this around Astrix actually went through or if it was just talks. Either way, the consolidation trend in AI security is real.
