Something that Elon Musk has been promising for a long time has just been confirmed: Tesla has finally begun large-scale production of the Cybercab. It’s a pretty interesting move given the current state of the automotive market.
What’s curious is that while Tesla is facing real pressure in its global electric-vehicle sales, Musk decides to push ahead specifically with the Cybercab. It’s no coincidence. This project represents far more than just another car model. It’s part of what Musk has called his “Great Master Plan” to bring physical artificial intelligence to reality.
Since 2024, Elon Musk has been building the narrative around this autonomous vehicle. Now that production is under way, it seems Tesla’s CEO is determined to prove that he can turn his vision of robots and autonomous driving into real products.
For Musk, the Cybercab is not just a response to the decline in traditional sales. It’s the next step in his long-term strategy. If he can scale production smoothly, it could completely change how we see the future of mobility. Some analysts already view this as an important inflection point for the industry.
What comes next is to see whether Elon Musk can maintain the production pace and whether the market is truly ready for this kind of mass technology.
