Crypto World Network news: a supertanker “Idemitsu Maru,” associated with Japan, is attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz—marking the first time a Japanese tanker has tried to leave the Persian Gulf since the outbreak of the Iran war. Tracking data shows the vessel departed from the northwest of Abu Dhabi late on Monday, carrying 2 million barrels of crude oil, which were loaded in early March at the Juaymah terminal in Saudi Arabia. The ship entered the Persian Gulf at the end of February, and it has now issued a “standby” signal, indicating that a buyer or destination has not yet been confirmed.
