Every time you click "Cross-Chain," do you really think it's just switching to a different network?

I later thought about it, and honestly, it's like issuing a pass for a bunch of "middlemen": the source chain needs to confirm not to rollback, the set of light clients/relayers sending messages shouldn't go offline, the validators shouldn't collude to cheat, the target chain's contracts/modules shouldn't be written to explode, plus a bunch of relayers who need someone willing to pay gas to run... IBC is good because it makes trust clearer, but it's not a "zero-trust fairy tale."
Recently, during the extreme funding rate wave, the group argued whether to reverse or continue squeezing the bubble, and I actually care more about whether, during this emotional frenzy, everyone cross-chain all-in forgot the question of "who to trust."
Forget it, taking a bit more time to confirm isn't shameful.
