CryptoWorld News reports that Codex project lead Thibault Sottiaux announced that all paid plan rate limits for Codex have been reset, allowing users who have exhausted their current quota to immediately regain available limits. He stated that this is to celebrate a "good week," encourage everyone to "use GPT-5.5 more for coding," and jokingly mentioned that resetting the rate limits "cost money." GPT-5.5 was launched on April 23rd for Codex, covering users on the Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise tiers.
