Abstract generation in progress

Golden Finance reports that on April 28, it was reported that OpenAI recently failed to meet its established new user and revenue targets, and the underperformance has raised concerns among some management, questioning whether the company can continue to bear the high costs of data center investments. According to sources familiar with the matter, Chief Financial Officer Sara Freyr told company management that if revenue growth remains weak, the company may be unable to pay for future computing power procurement contracts.
Sources say that over the past few months, the board has increased its scrutiny of the company’s data center partnership projects; against the backdrop of slowing business growth, management has also questioned the CEO Sam Altman’s continued expansion of computing capacity. (Sina Finance)
